PS hope you weren't butchering a coil pack wire in order to install a tach... cutting into those wires can cause arcing. Same for those remote starters. Those aftermarket ghetto tachs and remote starters that require you to hack into a perfectly good engine harness cause so many headaches down the road.

That's exactly what I did, so I'm researching that the power comes from battery and I'm assuming ignition relay fuse please tell me you have something sensible that won't cost a fortune I can do my own repairs

I had a busted coil pack harness plug so I spliced in a new one with the power on

I pulled one fusesible link in the engine fuse box it was good don't know of another
