My truck just locked up and quit moving in the middle of the road. Like u just slammed it in park. It won't move in any gear and it just makes a whining noise when u mash the gas. It has an auto tran.

700r4. Had to remove rear driveshaft to get
it to roll.

It depends on how it was running prior to it locking up.. was it low on oil, did you over rev it? Has everything home been replaced and another question is..have you checked your rear differential to see if possibly the spider gears we're locked up and allowing th vehicle to engage?
