What is the best locker to go with?

I am looking for a diff locker that will install into factory diff with no major mods prefer remove change some parts and reinstall. (no messing with adjusting the diff after)
Ocasional off road use but must be strong because it will have to work hard.
not looking for new but something i might be able to get from a auto recycler.

Skip a locker and go with an Eaton Detroit TrueTrac. It's the best purchase I've ever made for my truck, even better than getting my Black Bear Performance tune. It's a geared limited slip that mechanically proportions the torque between each wheel based on their traction, and there are no clutch discs to wear out as with traditional limited slips. It's FAR more practical and useful on-road than a locker (a major improvement for me was being able to turn onto wet highways without being a sitting duck doing a one-wheel peel) and is better in most all situations off-road. Unless you're lifting a wheel off the ground frequently, a locker has nothing on it. Even if you do get a wheel off the ground, a little brake will make the TrueTrac proportion the torque to the wheel with traction. I suggest checking out DrivetrainAmerica.com, they were selling them for $50 less than anybody else on the Internet when I bought mine.
