Does anyone know how to program a new key fob

your local dealer will have the correct scan tool to program it for you- they may or may not charge you for it, depending on your relationship with them- 1/2 hour charge is reasonable.

There is a way to do it yourself just search for programming your key fob lots of helpful info I did mine on my 1998 Silverado

wire jump port 6 to port 7 on the check engine hub under the dash and listen for the lock/unlock click on the door then holding both buttons close to the door lock you should hear lock and unlock operation. That's it, pretty simple. replacement remote must match the year range exam 1995-1998 chev PU
