How do I fix ignition cylinder issue?

I have a 1999 Classic Chevy C/K 1500 and I
replaced the ignition cylinder. When I go to crank it
it will start up but soon dies out, how do I fix this
problem? Thanks in advance.

If you using a spare key it can trigger security also had a customer today actually bring a 2500 had same problem. Security box could be bad also. The black box sit on top da round circle if that thing sticking up out da middle of circle breaks it'll do it to
