how to change a power brake booster

My daughter lives in Hawaii and called me and said she needed to replace her brake booster. The mechanic told her they needed to pull the motor to do this. is this true

They do not have to pull the motor, Tell her to find another shop cause there trying to scam her.

If this is not too late... No motor pull needed but they don't make them anymore. Her's will have to be sent out to be remanufactured. If you need parts for one let me know as I have one for sale.
