i have a 1990 buick reatta, the electric fan has quit working, you can direct wire it and it works hooked to the battery, could it be a relay?

speed fan relay, or the high speed pulling fan relay

Could be a relay. Try swapping out any relay that's the same as fan relay. If it then works replace the relay.

would it be the low speed pulling relay or high speed pushing relay? both are fan relays
