Troubleshoot a problem with my Buick Century
2000 starting I just got the key from a mobile
locksmith and I don't understand why but it , would
not start I turned it off to go to the store when I
came back out to start it it would not start all the
lights come on and it just does not turn over or
make any noise on me twice and now it won't start
it seems like possibly the anti-theft mechanism

With key off, turn on your park lights then try to crank, I've seen it work only once but worth a try. If no go you can try to relearn the anti they system. Step 1-start with key off. Step 2 turn to on position step 3 turn to crank position(all the way like you're trying to start it), step 4 release key (don't turn back) and let it set in the on position, theft light should be flashing, just leave it set approx. 10 min light should stop. Repeat this two more times and should reset.
