PT cruiser Computer problems

So I took my car to my mechanic this week after it
died on me in a turn lane. They found the oil
pressure switch was bad so they changed it hoping
that would fix the issue. They also found that brake
fluid had been spilled when they did my brakes a
year ago at a different place causing it to soak into
the connectors. Went to drive my car today and the
red oil pressure light came on. Could it all be linked
to the computer? Could the fluid have soaked into
there? I'm taking it back to the shop on Monday but
if this all the fault of the tire shop shouldn't they be
liable for this issue? My car was fine before this or
at least I thought.
