07 grand prix water issues

Antifreeze is leaking replaced water pump, still leaks and overheats.

where are the leaks? is it a AC/Delco pump? you should get a GM stock pump. use permatex sealant around the gasket too.

it could be the intake manifold or the timing chain cover area too.. check the source.

It's a Oreillys pump of some sort. And the leak is low and behind the belt area. Kinda flows over the power steering pump.

heater core hoses leak? check them; hoses lead to firewall..

Mine was leaking after my water pump and before. Turned out the L shaped plastic pieces that go into the water pump were cracked. They are made of plastic. I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix.

the small plastic piece is called coolant bypass tube, usually just a press in fit with o rings on each end common issue on all series 1 2 and 3 engines
