Do the fans come on when it gets hot ? Does it get hot right away ? Is the exhaust white ? Is there goop under the oil fill cap ? Is this the first time ?
It's most likely a blown head gasket. The 3.1L and your 3.4L V6 were notorious for that. But, if you recently had work done involving the cooling system, there's probably air trapped in the cooling system because it wasn't blead properly. Hope that helps! Jim
I had the man before upper and lower gaskets change
The 3.8L V6 has upper and lower intake manifold gasket failure. The 3.4L, like you have, blows head gaskets. You need to check for that before putting any money into this vehicle. Jim
