2002 Saturn starts and drives about a 1/4 mile then dies out and acts like its out of gas but isnt, after that it will start and idle but as soon as you hit the gas it dies out and cuts off.

Are you saying that you can start the car and let it run in park, but as soon as you put it into drive it stalls? Can you get it into neutral and will it idle there? But stalls in drive and reverse?

It will run if I put it in gear but as soon as I touch the gas to go it dies out and cuts of
