Impala SS I can first start the car it drives fine then after a while it starts shifting funny not one to pull and then I can turn the vehicle off started back up and it drives find again for a while

Your optispark system may be beginning to fail, temporarily cutting off spark to the plugs. If it is this it's only going to stall more and more.
