Selling my first car!
I want to sell my 1995 Chevrolet Corsica with 198k miles.
List of things wrong:
-Check engine light comes on 55+ mph
-Windshield wiper fluid doesn't work
-Right door mirror broken off
-Hole in muffler
-Emergency break lever wont fully go down, it's duct aped down
-The seats have rips and tears
-Tires aren't the same and are used
It does have a brand new battery in it, am/fm radio, cassette player, tilt wheel,
automatic trans, power steering, power windows, power locks.
Should I take it to get an inspection before I consider selling it and can I sell a
Michigan car in Ohio?
You can sell a car anywhere you want. But having it inspected won't help an out of state buyer. Personally, from your description of the car, I'd trade it in. Maybe you can squeeze $500.00 out of it. Especially if you're buying a brand new car. HTH. -Jim
The wreckers MIGHT give you more than you can sell it for ( but they say there's a buyer for every seller),I personally think it's worthless-sorry.
I'm not buying a new car.
I'd still recommend trying to trade it in. -Jim
