My dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi just shut down only 77,000 miles on it what could be wrong
just had a oil change, no lights came on the truck just stopped in the middle of the street in San Francisco this past saturday
Could be many different things. You can narrow it down to fuel or ignition first though. Have someone help you spray starting fluid into intake while cranking the engine over. If it starts momentarily you can narrow it down to fuel delivery problem. If not ignition issue.
it won't crank, but all the lights come on, the battery is hot, but still no sound
Check your fuses, battery connections, gear selector switch to begin with. These are easy checks and cost nothing. Try putting tranny in neutral and attempt to start. Battery connections should be nice and clean and shiny.
