Starts but shuts right off

Turn your key to the on position and listen for the hummm of the fuel pump it will do this when key is on. You may have a fuel relay problem for a car that old. It should be labeled on the fuse cover where that is. Not a flat fuse but a box looking figure with 30 on side. You might see 85 and 87 also in some kind weird diagram. Good luck
