Your car uses Coil packs, one to each spark plug, so six total. They replace the old distributor and plug wires. the coil sits on top of each spark plug. Sometimes you can scan the car for codes to pinpoint which coil is misfiring. Sometimes you can have a misfire and not trip a code. Some people like to change out all six since there are in the engine bay, you will have to remove the upper intake to remove the back 3 coils. Now is also a good time to change out the plugs as well. The coil comes with a boot that connects to the spark plug, use dielectric grease on the connections. I like using OEM, but any good brand will do, especially if your replacing all six.

So the spark plugs connect to the coils and the coils connects to the distributor? The code just came up misfire, which one wasnt noted:(
