07 Ford Expedition

Asked by Oct 07, 2016 at 07:40 PM about the 2007 Ford Expedition XLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 07 Expedition  idles real rough but pepsi
up around 2500 rpm but I noticed  the driver
side cat was cherry red.   I tried different
injectors and nothing.  I tried a new category
and nothing. I tried coils and nothing.  I tried
finding the driver control module and can't
locate it. Fuel pressure with key on is 55 and
engine running  is 70

Cherry red cat is raw fuel is getting into the exhaust. Either a misfire on that side of the engine or a leaky fuel injector.

I replaced all injectors on that side already. Replaced coils also

What gets me is if I unplug any injector or any coil the motor does not change at all. Isn't it supposed to?
