how to get car to start when theft light is on

i have a 1997 cavalier the theft light is on and car wont start. ive turned key
forward for 11 minutes 3 times and still nothing. got new starter and battery
and still theft light is on and wont start. any ideas of what to do next?

The 10 minute and/or 30 minute relearn procedure won't work in your situation! You have to be towed to your local Chevy Dealer for repair. HTH. -Jim
