No it did not spray at all in engine bay I'm not sure how big of a crack it is but it would leave a cup size puddle of antifreeze on the cement.

I checked oil does not look like water got into oil, so might rule out blown head gasket for now with newer vehicles are they equipped with a safety sensor that will shut vehicle down to prevent engine faliure?

Hi I have a 2007 commander. I replaced the alternator and as soon as I drove afterwards the radiator busted at the neck. Replaced radiator drive it for a day on the second day it ran hot again. Replaced the temp sensor, thermostat, flushed new radiator. Still ran hot. Then realized the fans weren’t coming on. Replaced fan. Now I can let it idle for a hour. It won’t run hot. But as soon as I accelerate it creeps to hot! Any ideas on what I should do next. The oil seems fine. No white smoke out of the tail pipe.
