MY TRUCK STARTS AND RUNS THEN YOU HEAR CLICK,CLICK, CLICK,CLICK, COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE DASH AND THEN IT DIES THEN YOU HEAR NUUUUUUU COMING FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE UNDERNEATH THE HOOD.I
I TRACED IT TO THE PURGE SELINIOD VALVE CONNECTOR,WHEN I UNPLUG THE
CONNECTOR THE NUUUUUUUU(NIOSE) STOPS BUT WHEN I RECONNECT THE
CONNECTOR THE NOISE STARTS AGAIN AND THE TRUCK WONT START. BUT IF THE
NOISE STOPS BY ITS SELF THE TRUCK WILL START AGAIN AND RUN UNTIL IT STARTS
CLICKING AGAIN AND THEN IT DIES. WHAT COULD BE MY PROBLEM?
For some reason the ECM is cycling the solenoid way too much, you most likely will have to take this to someone who has the diagnostic equipment to work on these guys.
My truck is doing this same thing, did you ever get it fixed and what was it?
no, I didn't get it fixed yet but I've been getting so many different solutions to the problem that I don't know which one is correct.
yeah that is same problem im having. some say fuel pump
