Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Basically the Aircon light is permanently switched on (even when the ignition key has been removed) the climate control knobs have no effect and the rear demister is unresponsive, does anyone have any suggestions?

Dear bambus- Sal Amico is the foreman in the service department of Boston Volvo, the largest Volvo dealer in North America. He is the man 35 mechanics come to when they have a question. He says that it looks like your trouble with your 2003 Volvo V40 is with the climate control module. Sorry, but it is not a simple or a cheap problem to fix. Have an expert in your area (like Sal) look at it to confirm the diagnosis. Good luck from Bovan.
