Do I really need to send in to get programed?

Asked by Clints_s80 Feb 06, 2017 at 06:22 PM about the 2001 Volvo S80 T6

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2001 s80 I just purchased it. It has 103k on it. The guy I bought it off of said that he just had a rebuilt transmision installed at an independent transmission shop. It is now in limp mode. I just took the throttle body with sensors off to try and send it in somewhere because everything I have read says it has to be reprogramed. The code I got from an Auto Zone plug in was P0121 Throttle / Pedal Position sensor A Circuit Range / Performance and it would not come off of PENDING. Just want to make sure before I put to much money into this car. Not sure about type of trim listed below but it has twin turbo
