The fuel pump in my 1993 mazda is ruined, can i replace it with one from a 1998 model? Seems horribly hard to find parts from a 1993 model.

Where do you live? Do you have the 1.6L or 1.8L engine?

TYC 151010G is the OEM replacement for both engines, and can be purchased online if you can't find it locally. Pumps for the 1.6L can be purchased more readily than the 1.8L as you probably found out.

Sadly i have a 1,3 engine :( not the greatest car but i was rather hoping to keep it running for a year more or so.
