my fuel pump is leaking from the bolts where the hose connects while im waiting for my new fuel pump to arrive can i put gasket sealer on the bolts on the fuel pump?

This fuel pump was a cheap one so I ordered this one.

There should be just two hose clamps on either end of that fuel pump. Just take a screw driver and tighten down the screws........
