how can you tell if it is a real AMG 19945 sl500

trying to sell my 1994 sl500  someone  asked if it says AMG any where else , how can you tell if it a real amg ?

This link will help you indetify if your SL is a true AMG, however most ANG vehicles will only have a two digit number designation on the trunk lid ie: ( SL73, SL70, SL60, or SL55 ). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_SL-Class

AMG did not exist in US before 2003. Only 300 were made between 2001 and 2002.
