The computer in the car monitors the resistance in the wiring, and the warning will stay on until a correct bulb is used, or any kink in the wiring. Talk to a service man at your Mercedes dealer, most of the time this is a quick 15 minute fix. German engineering monitors everything, and any minute glitch will keep that light on. Good luck.

wrong bulb. Get the correct one, install and your troubles will disappear.
