ater pulling a fifth wheel camper , my 2006 2500 dodge pickup makes half the fuel mileage why

before I pulled my fifthwheel camper ,my 2006 dodge diesel pickup would make twenty miles to the gallon.  now it only makes ten miles to the gallon and runs like it is loping alot

That's a huge drop. --- Check your tire air pressures. Feel each wheel for heat after a drive to see if a caliper is hanging up. Make sure the over drive is working. Check your filters.
