ISO: Info for What can I find a matching wiring harness to a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9liter V8

Will the Main Dash Wiring Harness from a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 liter V8
fit/work in a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 liter V8? Both trucks are the same
except one is 1997 1500 and one is 1996 2500. I found an article that says
1996 and 1997 are the same but '94 &'95 are different Is this true?

Try comparing the dash wiring harnesses from the 96 and 97 models over at autozone's online wiring diagrams, that will indicate any major differences.

Just to clarify my comment above: Autozone's web site has a section called "repair guides," you can find wiring diagrams there for most makes/models.
