Car bucks when put in gear acts as if it isn't getting fuel, but the head lamps flash on and off at this time. Electrical shot? Where?

I don't think its an an electrical issue, I would check your catalytic converter to see if it's clogged and then check fuel pressure at the rail and also change your fuel filter...

Changed 2 small, $1000, out of 3 catalytic converters, cleaned big one. New fuel filter, will now check fuel pressure at the rail. Cleaned plugs. Replaced air filter with after market cone air filter breathing material looks less tight easier air flow.
