What does it mean when you have a check engine light on and scanner finds no code>.

Then they were doing something wrong with scanner. Trying to use PIDs and not knowing how ..or something. It should at least show "No fault codes found" or no DTC found. .....My scanner shows 'no DTC found' and some read 'end of codes'

The batteries in the scanner might be dead or maintenance required and CEL are being confused

Or, I forgot. Fuse for OBDII port blown. Should have thought of that FIRST

08 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab rwd with 25,000 miles. I have been feeling bumps like going over road reflectors where there are no bumps, feels mostly like right rear.
