Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier that will not start. The battery and alternator checked good however when I try to start my vehicle it backfires then tries to start but cannot. It is also making almost a howling noise when I try to start it.
I would like to take to a mechanic for this problem however, it is also leaking antifreeze. Oh also the spark plugs were changed recently, and it started for a while after that. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you getting any trouble codes? Sounds like a fuel or air intake issue

Yes, plugs and wires were changed in late 2018 so they should be ok other than engine is very oily with some gasket leakage. Check engine light did come on last time it started up which was June, 2019, but I didn't get a read on the code.
