1996 chevy s10 tail lights wont work

I have a 1996 chevy s10 regular cab and my tail lights or license plate lights
wont work and all my fuses are good my brake lights and reverse lights are
good but my hazard button is broken so it is held down to keep it from coming
on what else should i check

Do the park lamps work in the front? Did you check park lamps fuse? Not only check the fuse, use a test light and check voltage on fuse, hot all the time. The voltage is wired to the headlamp switch. From the head lamp switch, the brown colored wire, voltage, should be for tail lamps and license plate lamp. At the rear lamps, black wire is ground. Need voltage and ground. Could be wiring circuit problem?
