Hi my name is Kim and recently my key fob quit working.  I went to the store and got 2 new batteries to see if that would work. It did not.  I bought a new key fob that looks identical to the one I had from the auto parts store and was able to get it to program but it will only work inside the car and really close to the window outside the car.  I am trying to find what actually reads the key fob so that I can replace it.  Can you help me. The antenna is built into the module which is part of the dash fuse block. Get a new fob from Ford. These are problem systems, the fact that it works at all says the antenna is working and they don't wear out. Can you let me know how this turns out, contact me here it will go to my email.
