After changing my water pump on start up 2 minutes in there is an excessive amount of
smoke coming from the engine compartment on the water pump side.

Is it leaking? Any unusual noise? May just be grease or coolant burning off the exhaust-block. Let it run for a bit if every thing looks okay and if you know you did the correct job.

No, coolant is hitting the ground, no unusual noise. Was afraid to run it for a while. I will let it run until it gets to operating temp and hopefully the smoke goes away. Thanks

Good morning. I have a 2003 taurus. Had someone change valve cover gasket, heat oxygen sensor, and spark plugs. Now it drives sluggish, and I'm afraid to drive it. I told the guy about a code from advanced auto parts that said something about a cylinder. But he did nothing about it. HELP!
