I have a 2002 Malibu 3.1 engine. Has been running fine. I tried to start it, cranks, no start. The fuel pump does come on seems to be plenty of pressure. Changed the filter, same thing. Checked for fuel a fuel regulator/shredder valve, no fuel. Removed line from regulator blew air into hose, still the same. How does the fuel enter the fuel rail? Is the shredder valve on the inlet side or return side? Does the fuel enter the rail first and then is pressure managed by the fuel regulator at the return side. No books talk about this process. Any help is wanted.Mike
if there is no fuel at the rail, there are two thing,s you need to check in the malibu, check the fuel pump then check the igintion switch it self.
