and over and over so I went and bought brand new
battery and put it in there and still didn't start so I was lost
there's a lot of things it could be so I took it to the shop
they diagnosed it said fuel pump was bad so I replaced

won't start the fuel pump isn't even coming on when I turn
the key on so I get a test light and my fuel pump is not
getting power my fuse and relay are both good what
should I do now and also I ran wires to old fuel pump and
it came right on and started pumping fuel please help

When you say you ran wires to the old pump, do you mean wires from an external power source? How did you verifiy that the fuse and relay were both good? Ive seen customers at my shop bypass the relay for fuel pumps on similar vehicles is why I ask. If your fuse is in fact good, you may have an open wire going to your fuel pump

I ran test wires from a battery charger clamps to each power wire on fuel pump and it started pumping and the fuse isn't blown I seen it and the relay I switched with a different relay that was the same and still didn't start

I know this thread is over 2 years old, but did you ever find out what the problem was, Fuckerfuck? I have an 06 impala and it's doing the EXACT SAME THING. No power to fuel pump. Fuse is fine. Relay is fine. But no power unless we put power from a different source. I would prefer to fix the actual problem instead of running a new power line....

Your computer thinks someone is trying to steal the car. It disables the fuel pump. Remove the air filter hose and pour 1/4 cup of fuel in toward manifold. Start car and immediately put in drive. If it continues to run you know what the problem is.

The problem is the connector in the trunk that tends to get wet and causes the prongs to get corroded... look in the trunk, on the passenger side you will see you will see a connector that goes through the car... unscrew it, take it out and unplug it... voila.!
