1994 Ford F350 powerstroke will not rap up over 1000 RPM and has no power until engine is warmed up and it won't warm up for at least 10 minutes. What is wrong?
Truck starts and doesn't burn oil but it will not rev up over 1000 RPM and has no power until engine is warmed up but it won't warm up for at least 10 minutes
I would look at glow plug operation. Might have a intake air heater perhaps its not working correctly.
Diesles take for ever to warm up. 10 minutes! You got your self a champ. Invest in a block heater to help get that antifreeze warm. Hell it may just be the oil since that is what opens the injectors when its cold its super thick when its warm it gets to flowing better.
Is your ebpv plugged up?
