why when i turn on my heater i lose all gauges

we just installed a new radio and i have re looked at the wiring for the radio
and heater but when i turn on the heater i lose all power to my gauges

Sounds like a bad ground associated with the new radio wiring. Retrace your steps again. HTH. -Jim
