Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 suburban  i was driving it and it acted liked it
was it out of gas. Like the fuel pump was going out. I lost
complete power and it shut off. We have changed the fuel
pump, crank sensor, temp control sensor, knock sensor,
throttle body, spark plugs, and  computer.  It will run but
once you press the gas pedal its like it smothers out....or
once it gets warm it will just shut off. It will crank but wont
stay running. We have kept it up regularly oil changes and
all the maintenance up until now we don't know what else
to try any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Use a gage and check proper fuel pressure? I saw what you replaced, but, don't know what testing you have done? I try to do testing before I replace anything and with electrical components, I check wiring circuits. The way you describe it, it sounds like your either running rich or lean. If temp related check your coolant temp sensor. Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. Did you check for applicable trouble codes? Make sure exhaust isn't blocked?

We scanned it with the scan tool it didnt show any codes at all. Its at the shop i work at its been 2 weeks and still no answers.

Other than what I posted, I can't think of anything else, at the moment. good luck.

What did you find out?? My suburban is doing the same thing and I am at a loss on where to go with it....
