2004 Chevy Suburban - Coolant leak

2004 Suburban - coolant hot warning on the instrument panel.  Added coolant
to the coolant reservoir and it gushes out underneath - is this a hose, water
pump, or something else?

Yes, a hose, water pump, radiator, cracked reservoir. We can't say, you have the vehicle. Safely crawl underneath the vehicle while someone adds water to the system.
