Hi there. Its possible that the airbag sensor in either one of the front seats could be faulty. I believe your airbag will still operate even with the light on. $200-$300 cost to repair. Good luck!

The airbag light on is warning you that a problem has been found with the system and, even in a collision, the airbags will NOT deploy. The clock spring in the steering column and the crash sensors just behind the front bumper are known trouble spots on these trucks. HTH. -Jim
