hi have 2004 avalanche, it seems to make alot of clunking when going up hills gearing up or down, same going down hills ,and alittle on flats ,thanks
Inspect your CV axles and boots for leakage of the molybdenum disulphide grease they put in there~caution skin irritant if it is leakin' the grease...an axle or two may be in order~ https://www.google.com/#q=2004+avalanche+drive+axle&tbm=shop
thankyou very much. have a frend with a 2010 ford pu had same type of thing ,ford said was a omputor chip ???
If I stretch my imagination a bit the TCS traction control system what applies the brakes to take control of your car could be "featherin" or pulsing the brakes to slow one wheel down.....myeah...could be~
i fixed my buddies 2007 with the exact same problem. it was the drivers side motor mount. they are notorious for breaking. not a bad fix. but the part cost is stupid.
