Why will key not turn to the off position?

Occasionally when I park my truck I cannot turn the key to the off position. It
will stop at Acc and will not continue to Off. I then have to restart the engine
and drive to a different spot where it usually works as intended. I replaced the
ignition lock cylinder but that was not the answer. Thoughts?

Thoughts? Yes: worn out ignition key.
