How to locate and replace/repair the interior dashboard light?
We have a 1998 Toyota RAV4L with a burned out (???) center dashboard light (located
just below the air vents in the middle of the dashboard) so you cannot see any of the
switches to shift the air vent outputs, recirculate air/outside air, etc.. I cannot locate the
light to repair or replace the bulb. Not even in the new owners manual that cost over
$100.00 to replace from a dealership.
The bulb is probably under the center panel. You will need to purchase some interior trim nylon pry tools and remove the panels to access the bulb. The procedure will not be in the owners manual , but a shop service manual. You might be able to find some help online from other owners. Frequent some Toyota Rav4 forums, check youtube and other sites.
Thanks, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. Appreciate it
