Key switch change after theft smashed it, is this hard? Only plastic pc with soldered connection on back is left

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

With only the plastic pc with soldered connections on the back is left. Can this be unplugged and replaced?

1 Answer

Should not be any soldering. follow the wire to the plastic disconector and disconnect it. I've made the mistake of breaking out the soldering iron, but as a mass production type piece is not time-efficient to manufacture this way. Just replace with another.
