How easy is it to replace a lower control arm?
I was told that the bushing is completely worn out and that I need to replace the entire
lower control arm. Just wanting to know if any once knows if it is a pretty simple task or
Requires the proper tools and knowledge to accomplish this. Jacks, jack stands, torque wrenches, breaker bars, tie rod and ball joint removal tools and tearing the suspension off the car. Impact gun would help. Alignment after your done is necessary as well.
Also may need a pallet full of Break-Away lol! The suspension parts since they support vehicle weight and are exposed to the elements, the bolts are almost always frozen/corroded/rusted together and require quite a bit of strength to loosen. Heat will help from a torch. Be carefull not to break any bolts.
