shifting prematurely

I have 1994 Land Cruiser, it seems to change gears prematurely (automatic Trans)

Have your dealer or competent transmission shop check the transmission TV cable. Some of the transmissions in cryslers makeup also used computer controled transmissions. If its computer controled then a good shop will need to reprogram your shift points. It dosen't take long to do this and its not terribly expensive. Hope this helps, jerry

check and see if the kickdown cable is adjusted properly. if you can locate the accelerator cable on the throttle body, the other cable, is the kick down for the transmission
