Am I missing a splash shield in my '04 Corolla S?
I bought this used corolla and I'm wondering if there is a splash shield missing right after the bumper (if you were looking at it from the bottom). I know I have the LEFT and RIGHT pair of splash shields that I believe go directly under the engine, but a mechanic told me he thinks I am missing one that is apart from them. I called 2 toyota dealers and it seems they only carry the splash shields I already have. I think the newer models have the part I have in mind, but could it be that this 04' model doesn't have this part? Can someone who has experience with this car let me know?

That's all there is. I looked at your images, then went outside to look at my own Corolla and that jondeleon0 is how it is. The way they were manufactured. As your images show
Ok. I have searched all over, to make sure either mine was also just gone, or what. But a 'splash shield' in the middle, which would actually make sense, would block air-flow to A/C condenser and radiator. All is well.
Thanks Fordnut! I was stressing out for a bit there. Good to know
