i have a 1991 carolla that turns over but wont start

turns over but won't start???do you mean the the self start as in the ignition is busted....or you have to push the car to start it(if it's a stick shift)...might be the battery or something wrong with the wiring or fuses...a mechanic would be really helpful or try out some videos from youtube
